The Travel Franchise voted one of the best in British franchising
The Travel Franchise has shot to number 17 on HSBC’s 2023 Elite Franchise Top 100 (EF100) list despite never being listed in the prestigious league table before.
“We are particularly thrilled because we are the only franchise in the travel industry to be included in the top 20! This is a massive achievement.”
Jenny Farenden, Head of Marketing at The Travel Franchise.
The EF100 is Britain’s definitive official list celebrating excellence in the franchise community. Each year the official league table is announced in December with an annual guide published and distributed throughout the UK the following year.
Every single franchise is scrutinised by an independent panel of top judges who score entrants on core criteria that helps gauge their growth, ambitions and contributions made to franchisees and the community.
Farenden, who joined The Travel Franchise in January, said that 2022 had been a year of massive investment and growth for the company.
“In 2022 we have either won or been shortlisted for nearly 30 awards and we have invested over £1 million in technology and in recruiting travel experts who help our franchisees build their homeworking travel consultancy business.”
Farenden says its franchisees – who operate under its Not Just Travel customer-facing brand – are seeing the benefits of its investment, with some consultants recording extraordinary sales.
“One couple sold £1 million-worth of holidays in just one month,” she said, adding that October and November sales for the entire company had been the best ever yet. We really are enjoying a massively successful 2022, and the soaring sales suggest our peak season of January to March will be bigger than ever. We are urging anyone who is considering joining us as a new franchisee to get in touch as soon as possible, demand is very high and if new consultants join now they can train in time to take advantage of our peak season post New Year.”
The Travel Franchise is one of the UK’s fastest growing travel agency businesses. It enables people to operate their own travel agent business from home without the risk of going it alone, and unlike many of its competitors, franchisees do not need any travel agent experience or qualifications to join.
Franchises range between just £2,995+VAT to £49,995+VAT depending on the chosen package. In addition, if Elite franchisees (£14,995+VAT) hit certain milestones they can have their franchise fee refunded in full.
