New Franchisees Achieve Remarkable Success in the Luxury Travel Market

Judges praise The Travel Franchise for exceptional support and success in the luxury travel sector. 

The Travel Franchise has yet again won another accolade, this time for its franchisees' impressive success in booking and planning luxury travel.

The company provides comprehensive training and support to individuals looking to start a travel business, whether full-time or part-time, regardless of their experience in the travel industry.

Franchisees operate under the Not Just Travel brand, offering a vast range of holiday options through over 450 suppliers, including luxurious options like safaris, cruises, and multi-centre trips.

A growing number are choosing to focus on the luxury market attracted by the higher commission rates per booking, with some agents such as Ross Johnson being awarded TTG’s New Luxury Travel Designer of the Year in 2024.

Big-ticket bookings are a regular occurrence. For instance last month, consultant Tracey booked a £43k holiday for four adults travelling business class to Singapore, Melbourne, and Sydney, with stays in luxurious five-star hotels; Catherine made a £39k cruise booking, while David made three bookings over £50k.

Agencies were judged by 27 travel experts with April Hutchinson, editor and publisher of TTG Luxury, exclaiming that its awards are some of the toughest in the travel industry!

“The judges also observed that to be delivering such impressive results for its agents – most of which are recruited from outside the travel industry – Not Just Travel’s training must be second-to-none,” said April.

The Travel Franchise enables anyone to train and begin booking holidays after just five days training. However, beyond that the company offers a huge amount of support and ongoing training which includes free mentorship retreats abroad. These money-can’t-buy experiences are hosted by co-founder Paul Harrison and Steve Witt in destinations such as Mauritius, the Caribbean, Turkey and the USA. No other franchise includes such training as part of the franchise package.

Harrison shared his thoughts on the award: “This accolade is proof that our approach works. February was a record-breaking month for the company, with agents booking more holidays than ever before. In addition to this achievement, The Travel Franchise was named the World’s Best Lifestyle Franchise and Europe’s Best Franchise by the International Franchise Federation, the world’s largest franchise association.
