Meet the man supporting Clear Brew franchise network behind the scenes
At Clear Brew, we take steps to help ensure that our franchise network have everything they need to operate a successful business. Our Franchise Coordinator, Ashley, is one of the people behind the scenes helping to ensure our nationwide team of franchisees are supported on their journey.

What does your role at Clear Brew entail?
In short, I am here to support the Clear Brew franchise network. I am their first contact should they have any queries and a source of knowledge at the end of the phone. Of course, this is just one part of my role. Another part is welcoming new franchisees on board and helping them launch their new business. I ultimately oversee the network and help keep things running smoothly.
What have you learned the most about during your time with Clear Brew so far?
The role has allowed me to grow my knowledge and skill set. I have grown in confidence and feel the role has allowed me to support the franchise network how every franchise wishes to be supported.. I get a lot from seeing the network develop which of course also makes the Clear Brew brand stronger.
What’s your favourite part about being a member of the Clear Brew team?
I get great satisfaction out of helping and supporting people. I have the pleasure of speaking to many different people, both within the Clear Brew team and at various events. I enjoy networking and forming solid relationships. Of course, the rest of the office team are great too (but don’t tell them that).
What support do you offer the franchise network?
The support I offer the network comes in various forms. I could be answering a basic query when they are out on a job, or I could be working with them to help increase their customer base – it’s a very varied role. I’m not on my own though! There is an entire office team that is also available to support the network when it comes areas such as marketing and accounts.
Why is a Clear Brew franchise such a good investment?
For me, it’s all about having a highly successful and financially sound business that allows for a good work/life balance. Clear Brew is low-cost franchise opportunity, meaning that there is not a huge financial outlay to set-up the business. However, the scope is huge and by building a good customer base, your earnings could leave you very comfortable. The nature of the business means that most technicians start early and have finished visiting sites by around midday. After this, it’s up to them how they allocate their time. This is great as it allows for other commitments.
How do you plan to further support the network moving forward?
I want to grow the network. I mean this in terms of the amount of franchisees we have and the quality of the business we have. Every franchise has their own defined area. I want to support them and help them build their business. Of course, this also helps to grow the Clear Brew brand. I want Clear Brew to be the first name on a landlord’s lips when it comes to beer line cleaning.
What would you say to anyone looking to invest in a franchise?
Just go for it! It’s a great way to be your own boss without the stress of starting a business from scratch. I understand that many worry about leaving the security of employment, however as they say, nothing ventured nothing gained! From my experience of working with franchisees over the years, taking control of your career gives you have the opportunity to increase your earnings and free-up time for other things.
If you could give all new Clear Brew franchisees one piece of advice, what would it be?
This is a difficult one! Those who know me, know that I’m not a man of few words…But if I had to give one piece of advice to our new franchisees, it would be to not fear the word no. Have the conversations with customers and build relationships; this will help to generate more customers.
