TaxAssist Accountants have teamed up with BPP to offer bespoke courses to it's network
In order to provide the best quality training courses to it's franchisees, the TaxAssist Accountants Training Academy has expanded its provision courses being offered and planned with leading global education provider BPP.
To keep its network of franchisees up to date with regulatory changes, continuing professional development (CPD) and technical and business training, The TaxAssist Accountants Training Academy runs year-round face-to-face, virtual courses, webinars and events, which now includes specialist courses run by BPP.
Samantha Skyring, TaxAssist Group Training and Communications Manager, FCCA, MAAT, ACIPP, heads up the Training Academy, and is delighted to be able to offer the new courses, which have been designed specifically for franchisees, with their clients’ needs in mind.
“BPP are market leaders in professional education, and due to the size of the TaxAssist franchise network, we have been able to forge this very valuable relationship. We now have over 200 franchisees and 700 staff members and I wanted to provide a range of new bespoke courses, which are particularly relevant to our network as we head into the economic recovery,” said Samantha.
The first two BPP training courses covered Accounting and Financial Analysis and Advisory Skills for Business Development, with new courses added as needed, with franchisees welcome to suggest future topics.
“The primary aim of this training is to enable franchisees to be more comfortable giving advice to their clients, rather than simply providing mechanical accounting services. It will help franchisees and their teams to analyse their clients’ financial statements to identify trends, risks and opportunities and to recommend appropriate action,” explained Samantha.
“The ability to win, retain and grow clients is central to creating a valuable and sustainable accounting practice. These courses help franchisees to gain skills that will help them to become a ‘trusted advisor’ to clients, increasing their loyalty, which in turn also grow the value of their business.”
Caroline Patterson, Head of Training Solutions – Professional Development at BPP, said: “BPP has been providing a range of courses with their industry experienced trainers for TaxAssist franchisees for a number of years across a variety of tax topics and more recently to include Accounting and Financial Analysis, Business Advisory Skills and Company Secretary training events.
During the pandemic the move to delivering sessions online, live, marked a new way of training for TaxAssist franchisees with very positive feedback from delegates.”
