TaxAssist Accountants have appointed a new president for the USA side
TaxAssist Accountants have appointed Aditya Ravipati as President and Area Representative for New Jersey, to spearhead the growth of TaxAssist Accountants across the US.
TaxAssist Accountants launched in the US in 2020, headed up by President Hal Gross offering Area Representative and franchise opportunities across selected states. Hal has now relinquished this role and a new President has been appointed – New Jersey-based Aditya Ravipati, who for the last 10 years was a Senior Tax Manager at Deloitte.
David Paulson, SVP Franchise Development, currently UK-based with a wealth of TaxAssist franchise recruitment knowledge and experience, is to be seconded to work alongside Aditya in New Jersey once travel corridors are opened up.
David said: “Hal joined us in May 2020 to drive the company formation and set up phase. His focus for the last 15 months has been on the legal side of disclosure, setting up TaxAssist Direct USA Inc in accordance with US laws and putting the right levels of corporate governance in place. I’d like to thank him for the great work he’s done in this time.
“Now the set-up is complete, Hal is moving across to join our US Advisory Board and will remain as a Board Director.
“We are all pleased to welcome Aditya as President. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Enrolled Agent. He was a Senior Tax Manager at Deloitte and spent 16 years managing client service relationships and tax compliance for some of the largest private equity partnership firms and high net worth individuals. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Aditiya’s background, experience and expertise will be invaluable as we drive forward with our expansion plans.”
Aditiya said: “I am incredibly proud to be taking on the role of President. I see huge potential for the TaxAssist Accountants business model and I’m looking forward to building and maturing the brand across the USA through the Area Representative model.
“Now is a good time to be launching a practice, with so many businesses needing expert advice to help and guide them post pandemic, and I look forward to meeting with and discussing our fantastic franchise opportunity in more detail with interested parties.”
As well as taking on the core leadership and strategic functions, Aditiya will be providing tax, accounting and practice support to franchisees while the US Support team is being recruited. He will be joining the first franchisee Initial Training Course in August and will then look to open a store, which will also act as the Support Center.
The TaxAssist Accountants franchise and Area Representative opportunities will appeal to experienced accountants working in industry, full-time tax preparers looking to scale up their business, individuals with a strong financial services or banking background, as well as those that already own an accounting or tax practice they wish to develop as part of a global brand.
