Russell Grant on why he chose the Business Doctors Franchise
With almost 30 years director level experience in some of the country's largest family businesses, Russell Grant will launch the new Midlands franchise territory for Business Doctors.
He says: "Too many SME owners find themselves spending the majority of their time working in their businesses rather than on them. We call this the owner's trap and it's a guaranteed way to stall your business's growth potential.
"Business Doctors work with SME owners to help them identify and solve barriers to growth. We are not the kind of organisation that writes a report, sends an invoice and disappears into the sunset. We really get involved and work along small and medium sized business owners to help them create the best organisations they can."
Since humble beginnings above a Cheshire takeaway in 2004, franchisors Rod Davies and Matt Levington were set on building the go to franchise company for SME advisory and consultancy services.
With over 30 Business Doctors franchise territories now operating around the UK, the ambitious pair took their first steps beyond British soil when they launched in South Africa in May 2014. Today, Business Doctors' franchise territories are up and running in eight regions of the country, including Johannesburg, its largest and wealthiest city. In 2016, Business Doctors launched in India, Malta and Republic of Ireland.
Rod Davies, Business Doctors' co-founder, said:
"I am confident that Russell will be able to use his experience to transform the fortunes of small and medium sized businesses around Leicestershire.
"He shares my belief that SMEs need hands on, practical support and not just consultancy. Business Doctors offers an affordable and jargon free middle ground between coaching and consultancy and Russell is well placed to deliver this service to an exceptional standard."
