Right at Home UK 2016 Annual Conference & Awards
The Right at Home UK care franchise owners have delivered fantastic feedback on the 2016 Annual Conference, describing two days “full of inspiration and energy.”
The network of 40 franchise owners joined the full Head Office franchise team and several of their key suppliers for a busy agenda themed around ‘Making a Difference.’
Highlights included a Top Performers Question Time, which allowed the group to share best practice and enabled less experienced owners to draw on strategies that have proved successful for their peersThe Open Forum gave the group an opportunity to engage in discussion with the UK Board of Directors and Guest speakers included a CQC Head of Inspection, who addressed how owners can receive Outstanding inspection ratings, and technology innovators from the Access Group, who demonstrated software that can allow care providers to ‘go paperless.’

Keynote speaker Michael Finnegan had the whole room captivated his delivery about building the mindset to achieve your goals. Michael is a motivator and psychological strategist to global sporting stars including the UK Ryder Cup team and his inspirational anecdotes received a fantastic reception.
And there was hardly a dry eye in the room when various owners shared examples of ways their care teams had made a positive, life-changing impact on the lives of their vulnerable or elderly Clients.

The event, held at the beautiful Ardencote Manor in Warwickshire, closed with a black tie gala dinner and an awards ceremony that recognised the achievements of new starters and those who had overcome adversity, as well as the group’s top performers.
New owners Ulrica and David Delaney, from Right at Home Eastbourne, described “a fantastic couple of days,” saying “the atmosphere was so positive and dynamic. “For us as a new office, the benefits of hearing other franchisees speaking about their experiences was absolutely invaluable, and the generosity with which everyone was prepared to share their accumulated knowledge was truly inspiring.”
