Right at Home proud to be a finalist in the 2020/21 Best Franchise Awards, sponsored by Lloyds Bank.
The Best Franchise Awards are based on feedback from the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark programme, coordinated by survey specialists WorkBuzz.
Each year it sees thousands of franchisees answer 32 questions about their franchise ownership experience via a confidential online survey, to generate an overall Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark score.
Right at Home’s owners’ feedback resulted in an overall score of 92%, putting it among the best performing franchises and leading to automatic recognition in the Best Franchise Awards.
2020/21 marks the sixth consecutive year in which Right at Home has been a Best Franchise Award finalist; it is also the only care company to have achieved Five Star Franchise status for a record eighth year, in recognition of its benchmark score.
Chief Operational Officer Lucy Campbell said: “Whilst 2020 has seen us facing unprecedented times, it also served to underline how working together, within a strong, supportive and engaged franchise network, puts us in the best possible position to overcome such challenges.
“In our latest Franchise Satisfaction Survey, Right at Home owners made clear how the support from National Office and our Covid-19 Task Force enabled them to adapt and protect their businesses, and ultimately come out of 2020 stronger than ever, having achieved a record year for sales. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank every individual throughout the organisation for their dedication and commitment throughout this difficult time.”
The Best Franchise Awards are split into three categories based on franchise network turnover, with a fourth category recognising the best feedback from first-time participants.
Finalists deliver a presentation on their network performance and future plans to a panel of independent judges. Right at Home will be judged in the £10m+ Network Turnover category, against the Molly Maid cleaning franchise and TaxAssist Accountants.
“The pandemic has put unprecedented pressure on virtually every type of business, including franchises. What makes these franchisors special is how they have shown leadership and supported their franchise networks during difficult times, with many innovating their way out of the crisis. They should be proud of what they’ve achieved and the difference they’ve made to their franchisees.”

Normally, the winners would be announced at the Best Franchise Conference – a physical event packed with best practice seminars. This year, due to the pandemic, the winners will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony on Wednesday 10th February.
