Right at Home Franchisee from the Solent Franchise territory is shortlisted for a national Award
Right at Home Solent is shortlisted for national Customer Engagement Award
Home care franchise provider Right at Home within the Solent franchise territory has been shortlisted for the Customer Engagement Award at the prestigious bfa HSBC Franchise Awards, to be held at the Vox, Birmingham, on 27th June 2019.
Right at Home within the franchise territory of Solent, which covers Southampton, Fareham, Gosport and New Forest East, is run by husband and wife duo, Kev and Amy Popat. As well as offering services including companionship, personal care, medication reminders and live-in care, the provider places great emphasis on improving quality of life and organises a wide range of stimulating activities, giving Clients the opportunity to get out into the local community and socialise.
Kev and Amy attributed their success to their dedicated team of CareGivers and office support staff.
They said:
“We are delighted and humbled to be shortlisted for this award. As a team we have faced many challenges, but through sheer determination and hard work have managed to come out of the other side much stronger. We are very proud to be able to offer a service that is rated as “Outstanding” by our regulatory body the CQC, putting us in the top 2% of care companies nationally. We are extremely proud of our amazing office and CareGiving team – this one is for them!”
The annual bfa (British Franchise Association) awards are the flagship event in the franchising calendar and getting a nomination is a major achievement. Pip Wilkins, CEO of the bfa, commented on Amy and Kev’s shortlisting:
“Although young in years, Amy & Kev are very experienced in franchising, and work incredibly hard with the CareGivers at Right at Home to ensure those receiving care get the best attention.
“Through personal experience, they know how essential excellent care is; not only to offer practical help to the most vulnerable in society but to help them to become empowered and increase their confidence.”
Andrew Brattesani, Head of Franchising at HSBC, added:
“Kev and Amy have seen first-hand how care should not be given to those in need, so every day they keep this in the front of their minds, to ensure those that need help the most get the best care and attention.”
The shortlisting follows Right at Home Solent achieving an Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England, back in September.
