to modernise the franchise offering, empower franchise partners, and provide them with the cutting-edge tools they need to succeed in an increasingly digital-first world. Since taking the helm, Katie has revolutionised the business by introducing innovative marketing strategies, restructuring the support system for franchisees, and championing creativity as a core
business value.

Reflecting on the recognition, Katie shared:

“I’m absolutely honoured to be named a finalist for the Creative Entrepreneur of the Year award. This isn’t just about me—it’s about our entire team and the incredible franchise partners who have embraced our vision. Together, we’ve built a business that’s both innovative and supportive, and being recognised is a celebration of that. We’ve worked hard to push the boundaries of what’s possible within the franchise space, and I’m proud to see our efforts acknowledged.”

Katie’s leadership has been a catalyst for change within the activ Marketing network, demonstrating that franchise partners can be both structured and dynamic. Through her efforts, activ Marketing now serves as a model for how franchises can successfully adapt to the digital age while continuing to empower their franchise partners to thrive.
