Home Instead, a senior care franchise, is excited to be meeting prospective franchisees in person at their upcoming Regional Discovery Days! All throughout the month of August, they will be visiting the North in York, across the Irish Sea to Belfast and into East Anglia in Ipswich, explaining all about their franchise opportunity and how you could be your own boss whilst making a real difference to people’s lives.
The Home Instead franchise discovery days will be held at the following locations and times:
- Tuesday 17th August – Northern Ireland, Belfast Radisson Blu Hotel- 10am-1pm
- Wednesday 18th August – York, Marriot Hotel- 10am-1pm
- Wednesday 25th August – Ipswich, Novotel Hotel- 10am-1pm
The regional discovery days will be hosted in the areas where Home Instead have a number of available franchise territories: the North East, the East of England and Northern Ireland. These are areas which are also seeing high-demand for home care services.
Head of Franchise Development at Home Instead, Imogen Clarke, will be hosting the events and speaking about Home Instead’s franchise opportunity- the day to day operations, marketing, recruitment, profit and loss, and more. She will also discuss the care sector more widely, as well as host a Q+A session.
Meeting with franchisees is so important, as it allows you to learn more about their experience with Home Instead. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of Home Instead’s existing owners, to find out about their journey and how they have built a successful business.
Imogen will be joined by Lynn Elliot in Northern Ireland, owner of Home Instead Down and Lisburn- the first Home Instead franchise in the country. In York, Imogen will be joined by Luke Norbury, a multi-unit franchisee operating offices in York and Scarborough. And in Ipswich, Imogen will be joined by Chris and Susanna Lye, a couple who have run their Home Instead office in Ipswich since 2009.
Imogen comments: “Over the past year, we have been unable to host in-person events as everything has been virtual. We are delighted to be ‘back on the road’, hosting events for prospective franchisees to find out about our model and what we offer, and meeting people who are as passionate about care as we are.
“We look for people who align with our ethos to join our network- those who are passionate about changing the face of ageing. As a management franchise, you don’t need experience in the sector, but you need to have strong people skills and a real desire to help others.”
