Ex-engineer exceeds earning expectations with Dream Doors
AFTER working for 21 years as a maintenance engineer, David Parr was looking for a career change that offered greater earning potential.
He chose to join the Dream Doors’ kitchen refurbishment national franchise network of more than 90 kitchen showrooms and opened his own showroom within the Nuneaton franchise territory, which he runs with his wife Ruth, last December.
Since then, the couple have consistently exceeded their franchise business plan projections, generating a healthy take home income working for the UK’s #1 kitchen makeover company.
David said:
“I’ve spent years lugging around 200 litre drums of solvents and chemicals. It’s not nice stuff and I didn’t want to still be doing that in five years’ time.”
After David came to that decision, he started investigating franchise opportunities and went to a national franchise exhibition. He found that many franchises revolve around selling niche products such as whiskies and oils or fast food and that did not appeal to him.
David said:
“Dream Doors was the only franchise opportunity I saw that could support me and my wife financially. We both got a bit excited about it and thought: ‘We can do this.’
“I really like what Dream Doors does.”
Dream Doors, the UK’s #1 kitchen makeover company, is looking for more talented franchisees like David who are ready to generate huge profits by representing an industry-leading brand. There are just 19 new franchise territories available nationwide, particularly in the North East, North West, Yorkshire and Scotland.
Meet the Dream Doors recruitment team on stand D80 at The Northern Franchise Exhibition, EventCity Manchester on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22.
