Driver Hire annual conference back for the first time in two years

Driver Hire’s annual conference, back for the first time in two years, held at the Lowry Hotel, Manchester, provided a perfect opportunity to celebrate an outstanding year for a whole host of franchisees and their offices.

Nic Chaviaris collected the top award, ‘Franchisee of the Year.’ Also on the podium were: Jordan Tracey (Dundee & Perth) and Oliver Maxwell (Milton Keynes) who each won ‘New Start of the Year’ - the first time in Driver Hire history that two franchisees have won this category in the same year; Mick Goodfellow (Nottingham) ‘Lawn Rose Bowl for Endeavour’ and Graeme Edgerton (Paisley) ‘David Walter Memorial Salver’. In total 36 awards were presented to 24 different franchisees for exceptional business performance.

Chief Executive, Chris Chidley was on hand to reveal to over 100 delegates from across the Driver Hire network, that the financial year 2021/22 was the best ever in nearly 40 years trading. It was also a record year for Driver Hire Australia, Driver Risk Management and the whole of the SPS Group.
