Cwmbran welcomes Autosmart franchisee Mike Parker

Mike Parker takes the reins on the Cwmbran franchise in South Wales. Mike spent his whole career in engineering, most recently in the position of Projects Director for a lifting and tipping company.

Mike tells us, “Becoming a Projects Director gave me just the confidence I needed to believe that I could become my own boss. I wanted to secure my future and be in control of my own destiny and I knew that I was capable of going it alone.

I looked around at electrical wholesaling businesses and at other franchises. The package with Autosmart stood out for me. There seems to be a genuine partnership with Autosmart, with support, care and interest from head office. I learnt a lot on the induction course and can see that there is loads of potential to develop this business even further, it’s a challenge, but also a great opportunity. I’ll be meeting all the customers over the next few weeks and just want them to know that my door is always open.
