ColourFence winners at the Franchise Marketing Awards
Innovative franchise that supplies a unique product takes home Best Website trophy
ColourFence, the service franchise that supplies weatherproof and virtually maintenance- free fencing, has won its first Franchise Marketing Award. The brand took home the trophy for Best Website at last week’s award ceremony. ColourFence was also a finalist in the Best Print Advert and Best Franchisee Marketing Support categories.
The awards, which are judged by an independent panel of experts, are open to all franchisors that operate an ethical franchise and can demonstrate marketing excellence. This year’s panel, which included British Franchise Association CEO Pip Wilkins, particularly liked the use of video testimonials, customer images and stories that they felt brought the products to life. They said
“ColourFence demonstrated a site that is easy to navigate, has plenty of engaging content and is visually appealing - it’s a winner on many levels.”
The franchise award was presented to Marketing Manager, Helen Hopkins, at the end of the first day at the National Franchise Exhibition in Birmingham. After collecting the trophy, Helen said:
“It’s fantastic that this is an award that can be truly shared with our franchisees. Knowing they have an award-winning website that should set them apart from competitors gives us the confidence to invest in online marketing.”
Digital Services Manager for ColourFence, Graham Bowers, who led the development team that built the new website said:
“It’s important to keep up to date with the ever-changing demands of online marketing, and to ensure we give our users the best possible experience across all devices and platforms. We put a lot of time and effort into improving our website earlier this year, so to have won in the best website category feels extremely rewarding.”
ColourFence is recruiting new franchisees nationwide and encourages interested parties to attend a Discovery Day at its factory in Newport, South Wales. As a management franchise opportunity, investors won’t be required to install the fences themselves nor is any previous industry experience required.
